Charcoal (wood coal) लकड़ी का कोयला

Charcoal is a man-made product, and it’s made from wood.charcoal is made by heating wood to high temperatures in the absence of oxygen. This can be done with ancient technology: build a fire in a pit, then bury it in the mud. The results are that the wood partially combusts, removing water and impurities and leaving behind mostly pure carbon.

It can be burnt easily and it produces less smoke. It is used for burning Dhoona on a hand clay pot called dhoona daani used for burning Guggul, loban etc. as a daily ritual of home in India. It removes the bad elements from the air and creates calm.

It can also be used for cooking food like on barbeque etc.
