Elaichi dana is commonly used in offering Prashad at most temples. Elachi Dana is made of Raw Sugar and some other ingredients. Devotees buy and offer this elachi dana to God/Goddess at the temple. It is also being offered at home daily during the worship. Many devotees also offer this Elachi Dana in Bhog Thali ( First meal of the home is offered to God) as a Sweet Dish. It is good to offer the food to God before the family start their breakfast, lunch or dinner. It gives positive energy in the food which is prepared in the kitchen.
