 Navagraha (Nine Planets)

The term Navagraha denotes the nine celestial bodies that form the base for astrological calculations. Nava means ‘Nine’ and Graha means planetary ‘energy’, ‘force’ or ‘controller’ so Navagraha Yantra Pooja is a prayer (ritual) performed to energies according to the nine planetary forces. As per Vedic Astrology, there are nine planets that influence our lives. The position of the planet at the time of human birth will have an influence on his actions and reaction to different situations in his life. In everybody`s time, there are ups and downs. Some improper planetary position in Birth chart / Kundali/ Horoscope / Natal chart or Current transits for an individual it is called as  “Dosha /Arista / Asubha Yoga”  or it`s called negative influence. Due to these “Navagraha Doshas,” people fall into depression and certain low moods, happen loss in business, Problems in service / Job, This inauspicious period may last for some different periods based on the duration of the evils of planets.

Reason for Navagraha Yantra Pooja :

As per Vedic astrology in ancient book of Kasyap Samhita / Vashitha Samhita / Narada Samhita etc.

ग्रहेषु विषमस्थेषु यत्नाच्छान्ति समाचरेत्।

हानिवृद्धिर्ग्रहाधीना तस्माच्छ्रेष्ठतमा ग्रहाः।।१४।।

एवं यः कुरुते सम्यग्ग्रहयज्ञं सहैव सः।

सर्वान्कन्कमानवाप्नोति स्वस्थानस्थफलं लभेत् ।।१७६।।

ग्रहेषु विषमस्थेषु यः शांतिं न करोति सः।

अर्थहानिं मनस्तापं चाश्नुते सर्वसंकटान्।।१७९।।

The nine “Grahas” or planets situated in our Kundali/ Horoscope control our fortune, our Karmas, and their results/outcomes. Each of these nine planets exerts an influence in our lives, which is called “Dasa” and it can be known from one’s Kundali/ Horoscope. Navagraha Yantra reduces the negative effects and bad evils and improves the positive energies of a person.
